Makenna Karen Klanot is the illustrator of the book, The Blue Penguin. She is eleven years old and the oldest of five siblings. Makenna lives in Sarasota, Florida and is in the fifth grade. Two of her favorite things are penguins and dance. When she grows up, she wants to work with penguins and be a dancer.
